2015 Pan Am Games Short Doc Series ‘Everyday Ambassadors’ Opens at Nathan Phillips Square

FILMbutton will feature one short film for the next 9 days to celebrate the 2015 Pan Am games & the Everyday Ambassadors.

Everyday Ambassadors is a series of short documentaries commissioned by the 2015 Pan Am Games from Verity Creative. Each film takes a look at the life of an Ontario resident who has immigrated from another Pan American country, and who is involved in work that is beautiful, meaningful, and reflects both of their cultures.

Their subjects include the winner of the 2015 Juno for World Music Album of the Year, a Haitian restaurateur, and a couple who trained Peruvian dancing horses. All 9 shorts will be screened in many locations across the GTA as part of PANAMANIA, with the first confirmed date of July 11 at Nathan Phillips Square.

As we stated above, FILMbutton will post 1 video a day for 9 days starting on Monday, in our Special Events section, to help promote the Everyday Ambassadors series and the Pan Am Games.
