The 20th Busan International Film Festival will offer a total of 304 films from 75 countries, 121 World & International Premieres, 94 World Premieres (70 Feature Films, 24 Short Films), 27 International Premieres (24 Feature Films, 3 Short Films). These films will be screened in 6 theatres over 35 screens (excluding Market and unofficial screening venues).

Main events include: Hand Printing, Master Class, Open Talk, Meet the Guest: Talk to Talk, Audience Meet-and-Greet & Cinema Together.

Among the filmmakers and guest in attendance will be: Hou Hsiao-hsien, Jia Zhangke, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Johnnie To, Eric Khoo, Kawase Naomi, Kore-eda Hirokazu, Lav Diaz, Wang Bing & Bahman Ghobadi. Since it’s the 20th anniversary of the festival many more are expected to attend.
