4th Annual Brazil Film Festival in Toronto

This year’s film selection celebrates . Gain insight into the world of the people who inhabit this country at the 4th edition of the Brazil Film Fest in Toronto and learn why Brazil creates such fascination in others.

The Festival has divided the films in 4 different categories: Personal Discovery, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bissexual & Transgender),Musical Fascination and the Opening Feature, as a category on its own.

Additional to the screenings BRAFF brings to Canada for the very first, and one night only performance, Brazilian singer and composer Zélia Duncan. While not yet discovered by many Canadians, Duncan was voted 2010′s best singer in the Pop / Rock / Reggae / Hip Hop / Funk category, at the most regarded Brazilian Music Award (21 Prêmio da Música Brasileira). She has also been touring recently with the Brazilian 1970′s psychedelic band: Os Mutantes.
