On March 16th, Canadian cinema icon Guy Maddin is returning to TIFF Bell Lightbox this March for a special screening of The Green Fog, his latest, and most ambitious work to date.

In this special event Maverick moviemaker Guy Maddin joins us in person to present this Spectacular Double-Bill the Toronto premiere of The Green Fog, Maddin’s found-footage homage to Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, followed by a screening of Hitch’s masterpiece of erotic obsession.

On March 17th don’t miss An Evening with Guy Maddin when the Canadian auteur provides live narration alongside a screening of his most intimate film, My Winnipeg. Named Best Canadian Film in 2007 by the Toronto Film Critics Association, My Winnipeg is a “docu-fantasia” that combines elements of fiction and some stranger-than-fiction to create a dizzying portrait of the director’s hometown.
