It doesn’t take long to get seriously scared. And Raven Banner Entertainment wants to encourage all filmmakers to take a stab at creating their own short horror film. The best bloodcurdler, as selected by Raven Banner, will debut in the popular national theatrical series Sinister Cinema.

SINISTER CINEMA SHORT FILM CONTEST DETAILS:
– No theme restrictions, but the more Sinister the better
– Four minute minimum – six minute maximum
– The deadline to submit a short film is April 14
– Finished film must be shot in HD and finished as an Apple ProRes 23.98 1920×1080
– Upload video to the Sinister Cinema Short Film Contest Group – Sinister Cinema

The winning filmmaker will be notified by April 30. In addition to having their film screen theatrically across Canada, the filmmaker will receive 10 free passes to their nearest participating Cineplex theatre so they can share in the experience with family & friends.
