Toronto, Canada – William F. White International Inc. (Whites) has announced the return of its yearly technology showcase, THE FEBRUARY FREEZE! This widely-anticipated pre-NAB exhibit known for bringing together the brightest minds in the business with the very latest innovations and technologies, will return to Toronto’s largest world-class production support complex, William F. White Centre, on Tuesday, February 7th 2017, from 12-8pm.
“For this year’s Freeze, along with rolling out the industry’s most cutting-edge innovations, we’re extremely excited to shine the spotlight on two major new initiatives at Whites: Our recently-launched Whites Camera department and newly-relocated Whites LES,” says Whites Chairman/CEO, Paul Bronfman. “These tremendous new facilities which are located right here at William F. White Centre are sure to blow all of our guests away as we continue to enhance our company with integrated complimentary services that are designed to add further value and convenience for our clients.”

Last year’s event boasted the company’s widest range of attendees and exhibitors in its 15-year history. “For our 16th year, the FREEZE is also expanding its reach to include exclusive can’t-miss opportunities for independent and emerging filmmakers,” adds Lowell Schrieder, Whites Director, Marketing & Communications. “This includes an entire indie village with exciting and informative hands-on workshops covering topics such as funding and digital content creation. Panelists will include reps from Ontario Arts Council, BravoFACT, the Harold Greenberg Fund and Telefilm just to name a few. Of course, we will also be showcasing our favourite new toys including exclusive, first-in-Canada product launches for our Dactyl Cable Cam, Shotover G1 Stabilized Remote Head, Sourcemaker remote control LED tubes, and much more!”

Feb Freeze 2017 will be extending its hours to allow for even more programming and interactivity throughout the day designed to add further depth and breadth to the show.
