The Hot Docs Documentary Festival will be taking place from April 29th – May 7th of 2010. The festival will screen 166 documentaries within 10 programs from 41 different countries around the world. Their will be 20 world premieres, 30 international premieres, 26 North American premieres, 48 Canadian premieres and 16 Toronto premieres, repectively.

Of the 166 films to be screened 48 or by first-time filmmakers and $72,000 worth of total cash prizes will be awarded at the award presentation on Friday, May 7th.
