Hot Docs is honoured to welcome a number of special guests, including former Los Angeles District Attorney Gil Garcetti, American sports journalist Robert Lipsyte, activist Gil Won-Ok and Director of Korean Council for Women Drafted for Military Slavery Meehyang Yoon, renowned graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister, Zabuli Education Center founder Razia Jan, director of the Innocence Project of Texas Mike Ware, motivational speaker Tony Robbins, former Noma head chef Daniel Giusti, and American hip-hop musician and rap pioneer Melle Mel, who are featured in films at the upcoming Festival, April 28 to May 8. In addition to guest subjects, 181 directors will be in attendance at the Festival to introduce their films and participate in post-screening audience Q&As.
