Italian Star Antonio Albanese Will Attend 2018 ICFF

Antonio Albanese (Olginate, October 10, 1964) is an Italian actor, director, comedian, comic, writer and imitator. He began his career working with a private local radio. He studied at the Scuola d’arte drammatica Paolo Grassi of Milan, graduated in 1991. He later realized that his real passion was comedy and he started to play in the Zelig Theatre of Milan and then at the “zanzara d’oro” of Bologna. He took part in the Maurizio Costanzo Show (1992). His highest comedic point was when he was on the show Mai Dire Gol. When he abandoned his comedic career, he began to work in cinema and theatre.

Some of Albanese’s more known films that he had acted in include 2000, La Lingua del Santo, La Seconda Notte di Nozze, Qualunquemente, and Tutto Tutto Niente Niente.

As a director his films include He’s also directed Uomo d’Acqua Dolce, La Fame e la Sete, Il Nostro Matrimonio è in Crisi. His latest directorial effort is called Contramano.

Awards to his credit include: the Nino Manfredi Award for L’Abbiamo Fatta Grossa in 2016 and he won a Golden Globe award for best actor in L’Intrepido in 2014.
