Arnulfo, a young Mexican, makes his living smuggling guns from Arizona to Mexico for a drug cartel. He buys a gun with unbelievable ease, crosses the border, and meets middlemen and customers. He has no idea that for some time, he and his American partner have been under surveillance by an ATF agent (Tim Roth). A fatal mistake by that agent causes the boy to make a miserable decision: he kidnaps and smuggles the law enforcer across the border, and the two find themselves deep in the complex and dangerous Mexican underworld.
