2015 BFI London Film Festival Runs for 12 days

From October 7-18, the BFI London Film Festival will screen 240 films from 72 countries across 16 screens in 12 days all across London. The festival has several different sections that include: Galas, Official Competition, First Feature Competition, Documentary Competition, Short Film Competition, Love, Debate & Dare. The BFI & BFI London Film Festival will also be honouring Cate Blanchett with the BFI Fellowship Award, there highest honour, and be giving Todd Haynes new film starring Blanchett, Carol, its UK premiere. It seems that director Todd Haynes and actors Cate Blanchett & Rooney Mara will attend the premiere.

Other events include a new partnership between the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, Women in Film & Television (UK) with the BFI London Film Festival, the LFF Connects Event Series which will include Christopher Nolan, Tacita Dean, Laurie Anderson & Guy Maddin among others.
