The next side step in Rocky’s journey is CREED but this time the boxer (Sylvester Stallone) is a mentor to Apollo Creed’s wayward son Adonis, as he deals with his own mortality in the process. Just like ROCKY, Adonis is given his shot at greatness but is facing a tougher opponent than any boxer in this series has ever squared off against. Will he come out of the ring victorious or will he fall like his father?

CREED is brought to the big screen by the director who brought us the powerful FRUITVALE STATION, stars that movie’s lead Michael B. Jordan in the titular role and begins a new chapter in the classic underdog movie franchise. – Alamo Drafthouse
