43rd Annual Festival International Du Film De La Rochelle

The 43rd La Rochelle International Film Festival will take place from June 26 – July 5th, 2015 and will screen films from around world. There programs include: TRIBUTES, RETROSPECTIVE, TREASURES OF SHANGHAI ART STUDIOS, MUSIC AND CINEMA, YESTERDAY TODAY, HERE AND THERE & NIGHT with JOHN CARPENTER.

A few of the Tributes the festival will showcase are for Olivier Assayas (France), Marco Bellocchio (Italy) and Hou Hsiao-Hsien (Taiwan) are just a few of the filmmakers showcased in this section.

In the YESTERDAY TODAY program they will be screening many restored or reissued classic films including The Third Man (1949) Carol Reed, The Dreamers (1961) Jack Clayton, The Birds (1963) Alfred Hitchcock, A Touch of Zen (1969) King Hu, Traffic (1971) Jacques Tati, The Audience (1971) Marco Ferreri, and The City of Hazards (1975) Robert Aldrich.
