DocX is an interdisciplinary section of the Festival celebrating documentary work that lives outside of the traditional format. This year, there will be a number of interactive installations, and virtual reality and 360° video experiences available at Hot Docs House (610 Markham Street).
All experiences are free and open to the public, running April 29 to May 7, 11:00 am to 6:00 p.m. No need to sign-up or book in advance. Just drop in and give it a try.
Interactive Installations let you discover Bloorcourt village, delve into your online persona or connect with survivors of Peru’s mass sterilization. Virtual Reality and 360° Video will let you travel from Guatemala, Cuba, Gaza, Eastern Africa, Southeast Asia, or experience life as an eagle, attend a Wilco live set, become a self-driving car and more.
