Fresh off the heels of 43 Emmy wins, The Banff World Media Festival is proud to announce that HBO will be honoured as Company of Distinction at the 2016 festival. Network CEO, Richard Plepler, is slated to give a special keynote address to the delegation. The honour of HBO as Company of Distinction further illustrates that Banff is dedicated to the exhibition of scripted content and the home of all things drama. Festival programmers will be incorporating HBO’s talent and executives into the festival line-up this year, as well as building on the thought leadership displayed across Kids & Animation, Unscripted and Digital Content.
