Mark Hamill, the pop culture icon who has carried the Star Wars torch over the past four decades will greet his fans at FAN EXPO CANADA for his first ever Canadian appearance. One of the world’s biggest celebrations of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming, FAN EXPO CANADA will welcome fans over Labour Day long weekend September 1-4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Hamill joins the (inter) stellar line up of guests including comic industry pioneer Stan Lee, who will make this year’s FAN EXPO CANADA his final Canadian convention appearance. The roster of legendary comic creators goes on with a rare appearance by Joe Quesada, the longest serving Marvel editor-in-chief since Stan Lee, as well as the mind and pencil behind graphic novels-turned blockbuster films such as Sin City and 300, Frank Miller. It will also be the last opportunity for fans to meet the original Batman and Robin, Adam West and Burt Ward, who will be making Toronto one of their final stops on their farewell tour. The original crew of the Starship Enterprise; William Shatner, George Takei and Nichelle Nichols, will also be at the show to celebrate 50 circles around the sun since Star Trek first premiered in 1969. The multi-talented Kevin Smith will be attending with his Jay and Silent Bob side-kick Jason Mewes as well as Hollywood icon, John Cusack.
