OMDC Welcomes Erin Creasey & Suzan Ayscough To Key Roles

Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) is pleased to announce two new team members who will fill key senior roles at the Agency: Erin Creasey takes on the role of Manager, Industry Initiatives and Suzan Ayscough is the new Manager of Communications & Corporate Secretary.

Erin, who began her new role on July 4 2016, is no stranger to the OMDC. She has been with the agency as Program Consultant, Interactive Digital Media since January 2016 and previously worked at ECW Press as Director of Sales and Marketing, and as President of the Association of Canadian Publishers.

Among other duties, Erin will oversee the Agency’s international business and industry development activities as well as managing a number of investment funds including: OMDC’s Export Fund, Film Fund; Book Fund, Interactive Digital Media Fund and Magazine Fund.

Suzan is well known for her more than 25 years of experience in Ontario’s creative and cultural sectors. She has served in senior communications roles with diverse organizations including Alliance Communications and Telefilm Canada; is a published author, has worked as a journalist with Screen International, Playback Magazine, Variety; and in film and television production.

Most recently, as Director of Communications at the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, Suzan was recruited to revitalize and rebrand the organization and successfully launched Canadian Screen Week and the Canadian Screen Awards. She begins her new role at OMDC on August 3, 2016.
