Stockholm Impact Award will be awarded for the first time during the festival in November. The prize amount of 1million SEK makes it one of the biggest film awards in the world. Ai Weiwei is chairman of the jury.

Ai Weiwei visits Stockholm to participate in the jury proceedings for the new film award Stockholm Impact Award. It is the first time the world- famous artist, who has also designed the award, is visiting Sweden. Stockholm Impact Award is a collaboration between Stockholm Film Festival and City of Stockholm aiming for highlighting films that create opportunities for changes and debate.
