MOVIE RELEASE TO FOLLOW PRISON RELEASE FOR MARC EMERY

CITIZEN MARC, New Doc On The PRINCE OF POT Opens On Canadian Screens October 17th

CITIZEN MARC, a new theatrical documentary about famed Canadian pot activist Marc Emery, who just ended five years of imprisonment in a U.S. penitentiary, will open in select cities across Canada on October 17th.

A film by Roger Evan Larry and Sandra Tomc, CITIZEN MARC is a witty, irreverent film which questions whether Emery, in his tireless fight against government and his eventual incarceration, generated a meaningful political energy or simply mounted a largely empty performance of protest for its own sake.

“We’ve all heard the buzz and speculation about the homecoming of the “Prince of Pot” for months. Love him or hate him, now Canadian audiences can experience Marc Emery’s story up close and personal for themselves. You can’t make this stuff up.”
