When Newgrounds launched it’s Flash Portal in 2000, it was the first site on the Internet to ever allow anyone and everyone to upload animated content to the web (as long as it was under 5mb). What followed was a revolution. Newgrounds became home of some of the most inventive, controversial and hilarious content on the web, all created for basically no reason by a community of professionals, amateurs, teenagers, trolls and early experiments from some of the biggest animators working today.
