This year’s opening night film Kent Moran’s The Challenger is Michael Clarke Duncan’s (The Green Mile) last film and features S. Epatha Merkerson (Law & Order), Justin Hartley (Smallville). A powerful and inspiring tale of a man overcoming adversity, The Challenger is a natural fit for Dances With Films. With the help of legendary boxing trainer, Duane Taylor (Michael Clarke Duncan), struggling Bronx auto mechanic Jaden Miller (Kent Moran), turns to boxing to save he and his mother (S. Epatha Merkerson) from living on the streets.

There will be individual red carpet’s for each film 30 minutes before the films screening in the TCL Chinese Theatres.
