Master of the paranoid thriller and celebrated American filmmaker John Frankenheimer brought an unusual movie to the French Riviera for the Cannes Film Festival in 1966. While less well known than some of his other films such as The Manchurian Candidate and The Birdman of Alcatraz, Seconds is a surreal film that explores age and identity in truly groundbreaking fashion for a Hollywood film.

When middle-aged banker John Randolph arrives home to his hum drum life in the suburbs one afternoon, he receives a mysterious phone call with an offer that will change his life and all of those in it. With an all star cast & crew featuring the cinematography of James Wong Howe (Body and Soul, Sweet Smell of Success), the music of Jerry Goldsmith (Chinatown) and Rock Hudson in perhaps the best performance of his career, Seconds is a haunting film that is sure to stay with viewers long after its startling ending.
