Cineplex’s Sixth Annual Great Digital Film Festival Announces Blockbuster Lineup

TORONTO, ON – Cineplex Entertainment’s Front Row Centre Events has announced the lineup for its sixth annual Great Digital Film Festival, returning to select Cineplex theatres across the country from January 30 to February 5, 2015.

The festival brings a week of Hollywood’s greatest classics and fan favourites to the big screen, often for the first time in digital format.

New this year, film lovers can join the conversation on Twitter about their favourite films in the festival by interacting with noted film expert and reviewer, Richard Crouse. Tweet your questions to @CineplexMovies, @FRCEvents, or @RichardCrouse using the #GDFF2015 hashtag, and Richard will respond. Richard will also explore behind-the-scenes and the history of select films as part of the pre-show including a pre-recorded conversation with acclaimed director Guillermo Del Toro about his film Pan’s Labyrinth.

“The success of the Great Digital Film Festival demonstrates Canadians’ deep bond with their all-time favourite movies,” said Pat Marshall, Vice President, Communications and Investor Relations, Cineplex Entertainment. “We are delighted to have beloved film critic Richard Crouse share his insights and answer festivalgoers’ burning questions about this year’s films.”
