Canadian icon, Gordon Pinsent, will discuss his career at TIFF on Monday, January 14 at 7 p.m as part of its In Conversation series.  One of Canada’s most beloved actors, Gordon Pinsent began his career on the stage before starring in such popular Canadian TV series as The Forest Rangers and Quentin Durgens, M.P. and racking up an impressive list of feature film credits, including The Rowdyman, The Shipping News and Away From Her. Pinsent takes the stage to look back at his remarkable, six-decade career and his notable close encounters with such talents as Marlon Brando, Julie Christie, Norman Jewison, Christopher Plummer and Sarah Polley.
