HARTLEY FILM FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES NEW AWARD CATEGORY

On a vote by Hartley’s Board of Directors, the Elda and Irving Hartley Award will be presented annually in May to two documentaries creating buzz within the industry that are in the rough- or fine-cut stage of production. The award will go to films focused on the relevance of religion in today’s world and each film will receive $10,000.00. This provides Hartley an enhanced opportunity to support exceptional films not only through seed grants in the early stages of research and development, but also when projects are in need of funds for final stages of production and implementation of impactful outreach strategies.
