HOT DOCS ANNOUNCES 15 SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS
TO SCREEN DURING 2018 FESTIVAL

Toronto – Hot Docs is pleased to announce 15 documentary features that will screen in this year’s Special Presentations program. Special Presentations features a high-profile collection of world and international premieres, award winners from the recent international festival circuit and works by master filmmakers or featuring some star subjects.

Notable subjects featured as part of the Special Presentations program include actor and comedian Bill Murray (Bill Murray Stories: Life Lessons Learned from a Mythical Man), beloved children’s entertainer Mr. Rogers (Won’t You Be My Neighbor?), actor and comedian Gilda Radner (Love, Gilda), and musician and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds (Believer).

Award winners from the recent international festival circuit include On Her Shoulders (Directing Award: U.S. Documentary at Sundance 2018), and Three Identical Strangers (U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Storytelling at Sundance 2018).

Special Presentations will screen as part of the 2018 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, running April 26 to May 6. The complete Special Presentations program and the full selection of films to screen at Hot Docs 2018 will be announced on March 20 including the 2018 opening night film. Ticket packages and passes are now on sale online. Ticket package redemption and single ticket sales for Hot Docs members are available starting March 20. Single ticket sales open to the public on March 27. Tickets are available online and at the CraveTV Box Office, located at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema, 506 Bloor Street.
