(Providence, RI) Flickers: Rhode Island International Film Festival is gearing up for an exciting, jam-packed March. From Films to Expos, from min-festivals to Video Lounges, Flickers will have something for everyone in March! Many of the events are tied to international collaborations and reflect the Festival’s reputation as New England’s only Academy Award-qualifier.

Programming kicks off March 6th with a series of international films that will be screened at 7:00 p.m. at the Coolidge Corner Cinema, 290 Harvard Street, Brookline MA 02446, (617) 734-2501.

The program, called le moi de francophonie is presented in collaboration with Consulates of France, Haiti, Switzerland/Swissnex Boston, the Quebec Delegation of Boston and the French Cultural Center of Boston. Each feature selection in the series will be preceded by a short film curated by Flickers. This year’s program:

March 6th: Everyone Says I Love You (short) | Little Lion (feature), Presented by Consulate General of France, Boston

March 13th: The Night of the Bear (short)| Longwave (feature), Presented by Swissnex Boston

March 20th: Herd Leader (short) | Sarah Prefers to Run (feature), Presented by The Quebec Delegation, Boston

March 27th: Son Indochine (short) | Haiti, Terre de feu (feature), Presented by Consulate General of Haiti, Boston
