Doc Soup Edmonton continues with the Edmonton premiere of celebrated doc Waste Land, to screen during this year’s Global Visions Film Festival on Sunday, November 14! Waste Land will also screen as part of Doc Soup Calgary on Wednesday, December 1. Already a multiple award winner on the fest circuit and a top ten audience favourite at Hot Docs 2010, this transcendent and unforgettable doc follows acclaimed artist Vik Muniz and his work with pickers of recyclable materials in Brazil’s Jardim Gramacho, the world’s largest landfill site.
