World Premiere of FIX: The Ministry Movie opens the CIMM Fest

from CIMM Fest

Synopsis:

FIX: The Ministry Movie, hosted by Sound Opinions’ Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot, is the first extended backstage look into the eardrum-shattering highs and heroin-fueled lows of the Chicago band that introduced most of the world to Industrial music while tearing itself apart with drug abuse and general chaos. Award-winning music video director Douglas Freel spent years on the road with the band, emerging miraculously unscathed and bearing incredible footage of Al Jourgensen and his ever-changing bandmates. Featuring interviews with Trent Reznor, Jello Biafra, Lemmy Kilmeister, and many more.

Director Douglas Freel, producer Ed Bates, Ministry bassist Paul Barker will be at the screening in person.

The 3rd annual Chicago International Movies & Music Festival (CIMM Fest) will take place April 14th – 17th, 2011.
