Synopsis:

This is the story of an American Original, a true legend of the Wild West. On her own from her early teens, she learned to survive on her own and quickly became the kind of woman to follow her own path. She maneuvered her way into the cavalry, fought alongside General George Custer and became friends with such as Buffalo Bill and Wild Bill Hickok. She was also an alcoholic, at times a prostitute and lived in Deadwood. Her name was Martha Canary but she will always be known as Calamity Jane.
