In Woonsocket the Flickers’ Cine Québec Film Festival launches March 8 – 9. Created through an ongoing partnership with the Délégation of Québec in Boston, Flickers: RI International Film Festival, Alliance Française de Providence and the Museum of Work & Culture, Cine Quebec, is a short series of films with English subtitles, curated and introduced by RIIFF’s Program Director, Shawn Quirk.

The first program starts at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8th and features a cocktail reception followed by the presentation of several Québécois short films with English subtitles.
